This is an opportunity for someone currently operating at a Senior Production/Production Lead level who is ready to step into broader ownership and grow into a leadership role within a supportive and experienced team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Production Lead, you will own production execution across categories, working closely with Buying, QA, Planning and Compliance to deliver product on time, to quality standards and within margin.
You’ll manage offshore suppliers, drive accountability across the supply chain and oversee trims, packaging and production documentation standards. The role focuses on decision making, problem solving and supplier partnership, not just critical path tracking.
You will be supported by senior leadership and given the opportunity to develop into a fully independent category owner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Production & Delivery
- Manage end-to-end production from development handover to bulk delivery
- Control critical path and proactively manage delivery risks
- Lead WIP alignment across Buying, QA and Planning
- Support DIFOT and stock availability outcomes
Supplier Management
- Build relationships with factories, mills and trim suppliers
- Drive supplier performance and accountability
- Support onboarding and capability development of suppliers
- Partner with QA on issue resolution and prevention
Commercial & Costing
- Negotiate pricing and support margin targets
- Identify commercial risks and alternative solutions
- Work with Buying on cost-effective product execution
Trims, Packaging & Documentation
- Manage trims and packaging development timelines
- Ensure clear and accurate production documentation
- Improve handover quality to reduce bulk issues
Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively across Buying, QA, Planning and Compliance
- Support sampling and fitting decisions impacting delivery or cost
- Contribute to continuous improvement of production processes
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Experience in a Senior Production Coordinator / Production Lead role (or similar)
- Exposure to managing offshore suppliers and multiple product categories
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Commercial awareness across costing and delivery
- Understanding of trims, packaging and production documentation
- A proactive mindset and willingness to step into ownership
- Advanced Excel and reporting system experience (CUBE or similar desirable)
