THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for an AMAZING Head of Store Experience to shape and elevate the in-store customer experience at DECJUBA. This senior leadership role is responsible for bringing our brand point of view and product to life in store - through high-impact visual storytelling, a seamless online-to-offline journey, and the ongoing evolution of our store environments.
You’ll lead our Visual Merchandising and Store Development & Design teams, blending creativity with strong commercial judgement and disciplined delivery to create an unmistakably DECJUBA experience that teams can execute with simplicity - driving conversion, performance and brand elevation across our 160+ stores.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Store Experience Strategy & Leadership
- Own the end-to-end Store Experience vision and roadmap aligned to product and marketing campaigns.
- Define "what good looks like" for customer flow, discovery, storytelling, zoning and in-store moments.
- Build the operating rhythm and governance that drives consistency across the retail network.
Visual Merchandising & Storytelling
- Lead seasonal VM direction across windows, mannequin outfitting, floor layouts, focal points, signage principles and in-store storytelling.
- Ensure VM is commercially led: clarity of offer, strong product stories, and standards that drive conversion and full-price sell-through.
- Create simple, scalable VM toolkits that stores can execute and embed consistent standards through visits, coaching and feedback loops.
Online-to-Offline Customer Journey
- Partner with Digital and Retail to reduce friction and connect store and online journeys seamlessly.
- Ensure stores have an ease of shopping without losing the excitement of discovery.
Store Development, Maintenance & Projects
- Lead store development across maintenance, minor works, refurbishments, refits, new store openings and relocations.
- Own end-to-end project delivery: briefs, design intent, external partners (designers/builders), timelines, budgets, compliance, and store handover readiness.
- Evolve store concepts over time (fixtures, adjacencies, zoning and capacity) in line with how the brand and customer expectations continue to evolve.
Cross-functional Alignment
- Partner closely with Merchandise, Marketing and Retail to translate strategy into store execution.
- Bring a customer lens, commercial discipline and store practicality to every decision.
Team & Supplier Leadership
- Lead, coach and develop high-performing VM and Store Development teams.
- Manage key suppliers and partners with clear standards, strong governance and accountability.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Establish clear measures for success: VM execution, store experience standards, project delivery performance, customer feedback themes and commercial outcomes.
- Run "test and learn" pilots (layouts, fixtures, storytelling, refit concepts) and scale what works.
ABOUT YOU
- Proven senior experience leading Visual Merchandising in a fashion/lifestyle retail environment (multi-store network). 10+ years.
- Strong understanding of how VM drives commercial outcomes: conversion, full-price sell-through, and customer behaviour.
- Demonstrated experience leading store development/projects (maintenance, refits, new store openings) with builders/designers and external suppliers.
- A natural translator of brand and product strategy into clear store execution - high standards, low noise, strong follow-through.
- Customer obsessed, commercially sharp, and able to balance creativity with operational practicality.
- An experienced people leader who builds capability and drives accountability through clear priorities and rhythms.
