THE OPPORTUNITY
We are on the hunt for an AMAZING Graphic Design Manager to join the team on a 12 month maternity leave contract. This is a key leadership role within our in-house Creative Team wehre you will take charge of concepting, directing, and executing innovative design across DECJUBA’s visual universe — from campaign rollouts and digital assets to retail POS and internal documents. You'll lead a passionate team of designers, collaborate with stakeholders across the business, and drive creative excellence that brings our brand to life in new, elevated ways.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and inspire the Graphic Design team to deliver exceptional design solutions across campaigns, digital, retail, packaging, and corporate communication.
- Own the visual storytelling of the brand — developing new, innovative concepts that align with our seasonal, product and marketing strategies.
- Translate briefs into high-impact creative strategies and ensure timely, on-brand execution of all deliverables.
- Manage and grow a high-performing design team — mentoring, upskilling, and driving collaboration, accountability and creative thinking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external creative partners (including digital and web agencies, print suppliers, and production houses) to ensure quality, consistency, and efficient delivery.
- Oversee all aspects of asset development across print, digital and in-store, including window decals, POS, social media assets, emails, lookbooks, packaging, and internal documents.
- Ensure flawless execution of all creative output, maintaining exceptional attention to detail, typography, and technical precision.
- Balance strategic thinking with hands-on design where needed, especially across major campaign launches and brand initiatives.
ABOUT YOU
- Have an eye for high-impact, trend-forward design and a genuine passion for fashion, branding and retail experiences.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, with at least 2 years leading a creative or design team. Experience in retail or fashion highly regarded.
- Bring strong leadership and mentoring skills - capable of building an empowered, engaged, and high-performing team.
- Be a natural collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, juggling multiple projects and deadlines with ease.
- Have outstanding communication skills - able to confidently present creative ideas, manage feedback, and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Be technically strong across the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), with bonus points for motion skills (After Effects or Premiere Pro) and UI tools like Figma.
- Have solid knowledge of print production, digital asset specs, and brand systems - and love pushing boundaries while staying on-brand.
- Are solutions-focused, detail-obsessed, and love transforming ideas into beautifully crafted outcomes.
