Are you ready to bring energy, creativity, and commercial savvy to a fast-paced fashion environment? At Decjuba, we’re on a mission to empower our customer in every aspect of her life – and we’re looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Buyer to help us deliver on that promise.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of our dynamic Product team, you’ll play a key role in developing on-brand, trend-led collections that excite and inspire. Supporting the Buyer across every stage of the product lifecycle, you’ll help bring new ideas to life and ensure our ranges hit the mark both creatively and commercially.

Your day-to-day will include:
Product Administration:

  • Managing tech packs, fit sessions, and sample organisation to ensure smooth processes and timely launches
  • Coordinating closely with cross-functional teams – including Planning, Production, Graphics and E-commerce – to ensure consistent communication and execution
  • Preparing for key meetings and sign-offs by collating samples and ensuring all materials are up to date
  • Supporting fit sessions, noting feedback, and confidently leading in the Buyer’s absence

Product Development & Range Building:

  • Contributing to trend research, competitor analysis and store visits to keep our collections fresh and relevant
  • Assisting in the briefing of the Graphics team, and collaborating on the seasonal trend direction

WHAT YOU BRING

  • A relevant design qualification and at least 2 years’ experience in a Buying Assistant or similar product development role
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with great attention to detail
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work well within a collaborative team
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with offshore suppliers
  • Technical knowledge of garment construction and proficiency with the Adobe Suite and Indesign
  • Experience using AP21 would be a bonus, but it is not essential

Above all, you’ll have a passion for the fashion industry, a keen eye for trends, and a desire to grow your career in a fast-moving, inspiring environment.
